I have stayed in a lot of hotels across Japan and this might be my favorite one. It’s not that it’s that unique or spectacular, but just that all the small details were well thought-out and everything was comfortable, all for a bargain price. The room was very comfortable, with all the amenities I expect and more. Tea kettle and green tea bags, nice bathroom setup, great shower, very comfortable bed with enough pillows, free bottles of water, and even a massage pillow on the couch! I also like that the flooring in the bathroom area in the entry way is not carpet, and also the bathroom and entry area can be closed off from the bedroom area with a sliding curtain panel. Everything was perfectly clean too. The location is convenient for many shops, restaurants, and transport connections in Nagoya, and there is a convenience store right next-door.

This is a beautiful hotel which has everything from cleanliness, sleek modern design, great bathroom, comfortable beds, and nice amenities. You pay more for the public bath on the higher floors and the larger bathroom. I love how the shower/bathtub is in a separate room where you can experience traditional Japanese bathing. This hotel is great if you want the sento experience in a modern hotel. Location is also pretty good for the price. It’s a couple blocks from the train station. I appreciate the exit to the street level is near the hotel. It was pouring rain and I was happy that we were protected underground before we had to walk up the stairs to get to our hotel. NOTE: the train station exit near the hotel is STAIRS ONLY! With larger luggage, it’s not convenient. The elevator is only located near the train station.

Place was very new and modern. Top floor onsen was very clean and I enjoyed it. Room was spacious compared to the usual business hotel, and there was a sofa that could fit at least two persons. Although there was no table, a small overbed table was present and I used it to do some work on my laptop while seated on the sofa. Bathroom was spacious. I usually stay around Nagoya station but this time I chose this location and found it to be a better choice. It was not so crowded and messy as the Nagoya station area, and in terms of connecting to different parts of the city this location was actually more convenient. There were plenty of eateries for all budgets in the area. Staff was helpful when I needed to mail my luggage forward.

Price: so cheap for a hotel room that is not claustrophobic unlike typical Japanese hotels Location: just a stone's throw away from subway access (but more on that later, as there is a disclaimer). It's also a walking distance from Sakae district, which is a posh place with lots of shopping and restaurant options. Not to mention, 7-eleven is just beside the hotel Rooms: as mentioned in "Price", the rooms despite having a small area feel spacious due to smart partition. At least for a solo traveler with only a small luggage Staff: typical of a Japanese hospitality business, very approachable and helpful

The rooms were modern and exceptionally clean. I have a terrible dust allergy, and I usually get allergic reactions from even the cleanest hotels in Japan. I slept well in their rooms, which says a lot about the cleanliness. They're also very accommodating towards foreign guests, with clear, detailed instructions in english about how to use things inside the room. Finally, their location is right at the heart of Nagoya, close to key subway stations and the main shopping district of Sakae. They also provide water, coffee and tea in the rooms. Japanese hotels typically just have tea.
